Kinga Humińska-Lisowska – Ph.D. of Biological Sciences (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland). Currently she is an Assistant Professor at Gdansk University of Physical Education and Sport (AWFiS), Poland. In 2013-2017 worked as a laboratory diagnostician at the DNA Research Center (DNA RC) in Poznan. At that time, as the head of the Genomics Laboratory (DNA RC), she was responsible for laboratory development, validation and implementation of new research areas based (in particular) on the next generation sequencing technology (NGS).
She actively participated in many conferences presenting posters and giving oral presentations. Chair speaker at the „9th International Conference of Contemporary Oncology” during the „Clinical session 8. Precision/personalization of targeted therapy.” She is a co-investigator of many scientific projects financed by NCBiR (INNOMED, BIOSTRATEG, NCBR), MNiSW, NCN, PARP. Currently, she is the head of of a project financed by the National Science Center entitled “The impact of exercise-induced muscle damage, inflammation and oxidative stress on the intestinal microbiota in athletes.” The object of her interest is genetics of sport and health.
